To be completely clear: I have two Macs, both are running OSX 10.8.2 (one is a MacBook Pro, the other a MacBook Air, both of '11 vintage) and the current build of MailPlane 3 beta (587). On both, Mailplane has very slow typing in reply/fwd windows. New compose windows are fine. Also on both machines, Chrome, Safari, and FluidApp instances of GMail are fine in both the reply/fwd AND new compose windows.
I am using the NEW Gmail compose version. if I switch back to the OLD Gmail compose, typing is fine and fast again in Mailplane.
