Hi Jessica, Mailplane Version 3.0.1 (754)
Yes, lag and unrepsponsiveness while typing in the new compose textareas. The problem goes away if I switch back to the old compose views. No beach balling. Just "frozen" unresponsiveness. Google Plus and Google Chat are already and always disabled in Mailplane.
