You have to use the "pay-for-it" version of Fluid, and then there's an
option to use a separate storage area for each fluid app.

Unfortunately, this is what I've resorted to, as a long-time
mailplane2 user, I'm not likely to spend more money for a new version
with less functionality.  Fluid is fast, way faster than mailplane,
and when google changes things, it still works.  The only downside is
multiple icons in the dock.
