+1 for me as well, as I'm currently notified 3 different times for the same event, once through my phone, once through Calendar.app, and once through Mailplane, and the Mailplane notification is probably the most annoying because it is a blocking notification (i.e. I can't do anything in Mailplane until I clear it).
