OK - got a chance to actually try this.

Stopped and restated Mailplane - starts up around 450Meg of RAM (As shown
in Activity Monitor) Af few hours later that's at 939.4 and ticking
upwards slowly. I've never seen it over 1.1 or so Gig.

Started Safari (I usually don't use Safari) and opened the same four tabs
(2 mail, 2 calendar) started at about 165Meg, and still (several hours
later) at 165Meg.

So it seems to me that Mailplane is using a large amount of memory for what
it is doing. I do not have an issue with memory - I have 12 Gig and I
rarely see memory "pressure". So it's possible that Mailplane would
release RAM if memory was tight .... don't know???

I'm going to try and repeat this test at work (casual observations would
suggest I'll see the same thing).

Mailplane: Version 3.3.3 (1244)
Safari: Version 8.0 (10600.1.25.1)
OS X: 10.10.1
iMac: (21.5-inch, Mid 2010)/3.06 GHz Intel Core i3/12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
