The "include older binary versions" issue, usually (possibly ONLY)
comes up for traditional shared libraries only.
Well, imagemagick actually have both old shared libraries plus other
dynamically loaded objects, however those objects are only loaded by the
libraries and not by external applications (at least as far as I know).
