This is exactly my problem - in the dsp data sheet there are only these
values I gave you, namely a msb, a lsb and a bank which works out to msb
times 128 plus lsb.
That's why I'm stuck - where/how in qws do I enter these values to invoke
this effect?

Okay, you're going to want to go into the manual and familiarize yourself
with how to use the Control Editor to input this in. Another option is to
re-map the pitch bend wheel a few times to record it on the track.
However, you're missing a piece or two of information. I'm assuming this is
an NRPN command. This means you still need values for the data entry on how
you get it happening. That will involve either controller 6 or a combination
of controller 6 and 38, depending on if they are using high definition data
entry values.

That's what they put in the documentation, and if I use the formula,
msb times 128 plus lsb I get the same bank number as they give, namely
12673...
