That depends on which one has the more reliable clock. If your keyboard can
accept a MIDI clock then it's probably better that way.
I'd suggest just recording the different modes of arpeggiation in both major
and minor keys, then use those to fill the bill, transposing and altering
them using the transforms to get them to work in the right scales. That way
you don't have to repeat it every time, you can just alter pre-existing
files to fit your needs.
