The ../lib in INC actually bites on Unix too: http://nntp.x.perl.org/group/perl.daily-build.reports/5406 This is because I happen to have 5.004 installed in ~/lib, and I'm smoking in ~/Smoke Yes, I could just move something. But it doesn't feel right. Nicholas Clark
