we are using MGOS in the following environment: - MGOS 2.0 - IIS6 on MS Server2003 - ASP application / .Net environment - Server with dual processor / 4 GB RAM our application has one map, one layout, about 50 layers, some MRSID, some TIFF and shape files, user can calculate a route, therefore we have 4 dynamic layers in session repository The mgserver process occasionally crashes and monitoring the memory usage I can see the following behaviour: After starting the mgserver process the use of memory continously increases, the pagefile size grows permanetly, and both of them do never decrease. Error messages in mgserver logfiles: - out of memory, bad allocation - failed to stylize layer - no more fdo connections - unexpected exception - ressource busy the error messages are not allways identical. The mgserver process hangs completely, can not be restarted so I have to restart the server. Does anybody have a similar situation ? I didn't change settings in serverconfig.ini, any hints, what to change there ? Why does the mgserver process not deallocate memory, may be there is something wrong in my IIS6 configuration ?
