Dear Mr. Street:

Sothebys and Christie's have archive departments will provide prices realized
for non-recent auctions.

Best wishes,

Jaron Davis

Subject: [MapHist] Old auction catalogs

Greetings all:

I need to research old auction results from the mid-20th century --
specifically looking for New York houses of the time, such as Parke-Bernet,
Sotheby's after
1955 arrival in NY, etc. Can anyone suggest where I might find these sales
results? Nothing from that far back seems to be online, unless I am missing it.

Thanks!

Neil Street
