Hi Neil,
The Osher Map Library has a relatively good collection of catalogs from the 20th century. Unfortunately they are as far as I know not on line. The Library did though make an in house list of them so you should contact them to see just what they have.

Subject: [MapHist] Old auction catalogs Greetings all:I need to research old auction results from the mid-20th century -- specifically looking for New York houses of the time, such as Parke-Bernet, Sotheby's after1955 arrival in NY, etc. Can anyone suggest where I might find these sales results? Nothing from that far back seems to be online, unless I am missing it.Thanks!Neil StreetVintageMaps.com
