Mr. Livieratos I have to say that I really enyoyed the very inspiring meeting of the ICA Commission on Digital Technologies in Cartographic Heritage last week in The Hague, but it flabbergasts me that your commission now plans a session in Paris that fully coincides with the meeting of the other, more traditional orientated, ICA Committee on the history of cartography. With so little people (that is to say within the framework of ICA) interested in the historical foundations of the discipline - it is saddening that the historians of cartography being present, now have to make a choice.
