Hi,
We have recently purchased a HP 1055CM plotter and set it up to service a number of
workstations on our LAN.
So far it has proved to be about 10 times faster producing A0 size vector plots
compared to our old Encad Novajet 2.
However my colleagues have noticed a problem when trying to use Mapinfo and plotting
images with a transparent raster background.
This is referred to in the printer documentation - "It is recommended to not use
images with "Transparent Backgrounds""
Otherwise I would rate it as an excellent product.

Is ther anybody used HP 1055C plotter, and give some experiences about its performance
and speed..
Or is ther anybody used HP 755, Hp 2500 and HP 1055 and compare them...
