I vote for the 'delete and move on' method.  If you stop and look at the
actual percentage of spam that comes through the list, it is minuscule
compared to the total.  Attempts to censor, moderate, or meddle with the
current system have the potential to reduce the effectiveness of our
list.

My guess is that the average MI-L participant doesn't open every single
message individually, but rather deletes selected messages based on the
content.  While this may be a nuisance for those who have to waste
precious online minutes downloading spam, the benefits of an
unmoderated, uncensored mailing list far exceed the few extra seconds it
takes to click 'Delete'.
