A couple of months ago I saw a story about a company which
was asking people to forward spam messages (with full headers)
to them, and that company would in turn try and shut the
spammers down.
I thought I'd bookmarked it, but I can't find the link anymore. :(
Anybody else see this story (and remember the link)?
Oh yeah, there is a twist. The company is not altruistic, they are
trying to champion 'voluntary email advertisement' or some such
phrase. The way it works is you say, "It's okay if I recieve
unsolicited email for GIS, but not anything else).
