Can anyone help with the following problem.?
I have a series of (registered) satellite images in .tif format. They show
the image on a slightly oblique angle (the flight path of the satellite)
sitting on a black rectangular background. The images are fine to use in
Mapinfo except when I want to use two or more adjoining images together as I
cannot get rid of the black background. I have previously used similar tif
images with MI ver 4.12 (now using 5.0) and all I had to do was go into
Table, Raster, Adjust Image Styles, Select the image & the tick Transparent.
This used to drop out the black background as well as any black on the image
itself which wasn't a problem. Has anyone else come across this problem?
(I'm hoping it is not something to do with using a later version of MI)
thanks in anticipation........
