I am preparing a MapInfo table
showing Zoning Districts from an AutoCad file. Because the Autocad file used a
mixture of polylines and closed polygons, I am having to create regions from
them. This is not a problem but what I have found happening is that when a
larger region encompasses smaller districts and I use any sort of background
fill for the regions, the smaller regions are hidden behind the larger one. Is
there any way to cut the smaller regions from the larger one. (I wish I could
show you a picture of what I mean if this is not clear).
