Hi,

If I remember well from My Autocad v10-v12 years, about 8 years ago, the trick
(then) was to only visualise the layers you want exported on the screen Next
export to dxf; there should be a prompt asking or a possibility to select  the
features  you want or just the whole content of the layers.

It is too long ago to give you more detail.
