Sorry for the confussion.
In MapInfo Professional 6.0 we offer the ODBC drivers from Merant,
formerly Intersolv. These include Oracle 7/8, Informix 9, SQL Server
and Sybase. We also include the IUS Client/Driver v2.80 from Informix.
We did not test and no longer support Informix 7 databases, and
unfortunately we no longer have an Informix 7 database in our test
lab, but we suspect both drivers will have no problem connecting to
the Informix 7.x version because not much has changed in this area
from version 7 to version 9.
We supply two IUS drivers for this reason. The Merant drivers will
allow for X/Y schema ONLY while the IUS Client/Driver allows access
X/Y and SpatialWare schemas.
