Bill, 
I am constantly creating maps for engineering meetings and they all use
PowerPoint presentation slides these days.  What I do is at the point where
you actually save the file, change the selection from Windows Bitmap (*.bmp)
to select a Windows Metafile (*.wmf).  The maps are not as pixilated in this
format as are the bitmap images.

we are exporting map windows (mapinfo professional 6) to word (save window
as...file format..insert picture) with poor results.  i searched the archive
and saw some stuff suggesting this process back in the v.4 days.  is this as
good as it gets?
