Hi!

The fastest way which gives least problems I've found to be like this.
Have the map window active, press Ctrl+C to copy it.
Change to Word and take Paste special and choose Image (I hope thats what it
is called in the English version) instead of MapInfo Mapobject.
Paste special gives an image that is easier to move around in the document.
It's great for day to day work instructions.
Sorry to say it doesn't work on layout window there's the only way I've
found to save window as wmf or print to file.

Have a nice weekend
Regards Christer

Subject: MI exporting maps to word

hi

we are exporting map windows (mapinfo professional 6) to word (save window
as...file format..insert picture) with poor results. i searched the archive
and saw some stuff suggesting this process back in the v.4 days. is this as
good as it gets?

thanks
