Hi,
I have two different clients that have reported the same bug to me, so I am wondering
if others have seen this bug as well. Both clients have their tables in the UTM map
projection. They sometimes need to move a point feature to a specific
Easting/Northing location. They double click on a point feature in an editable layer,
then type in the coordinates and press the OK button. When they do that, the point
disappears from the screen. When you zoom out, you find that the point has moved to a
location with different coordinates than that which you typed. It usually goes
somewhere around the equator. Has anyone else seen this problem? I have been told
that v5.0 of MapInfo did not have this problem. V5.5 and v6.0 has this problem also.
