These may not be sperical distances around the earth, but could possibly be
the shortest distance, including THROUGH the earth!

Now it is a 3-D problem...

relax,
you're at an UK travel agent.......  they are the cost of flights to those
cities in 'air mile' vouchers......you know, those things you rack up by
flying with various companies, buying groceries at tescos etc etc,     spend
�xxx  and get a voucher for so many miles of airspace....normally they just
get binned/ or enthusiastically expire just as you get a chance to cash them
in.... best of all being a cash substitute that have no spatial value
whatsoever...........you could be anywhere........however, I am sure that no
such sign exists in Nottingham UK
