Only the colordepth of the rendered image is depending on your video card.
Having any Geforce 2 or other highperformance video card won't help you
improving you're renderperformance or quality of youre image.

On some Unixsystems you can use some virtual framebuffer software, which
emulates
a video card or you can use the X-server on another machine. So you can run
your
MapXtreme Java server on any highperformance unixserver.
