Howdy. In our use of Mapinfo, we have to copy and paste (Ctrl-c and Ctrl-v) hundreds of times per day. We found that in Mapinfo4, the 'copy' command would not always successfully copy the desired text to the clipboard, which leads to the wrong text being pated on the next pate attempt. Not good. Through a most annoying trial-and-error process, we found that the problem i snot hardware-related, ONLY occurs in Mapinfo and occurs on all our PCs.
So, we figured we'd get Mapinfo 6.5 and hopefully the issue would be resolved. Well, 20 grand later, we've still got the same problem. Has anyone encountered this issue? Any ideas for a fix or workaround? I checked the Mapinfo site, and all the patches were not relevant to this issue. I'm going to deal directly with Mapinfo tomorrow, but I thought I'd see if we were alone with regards to this copy/paste hell.
