I experience the same problem - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Annoying indeed.

Any ideas for a fix or workaround? I checked the Mapinfo site, and all the patches were not relevant to this issue. I'm going to deal directly with Mapinfo tomorrow, but I thought I'd see if we were alone with regards to this copy/paste hell.
