Hi Mandy and List,

This ugly bug *sometimes* occurs when you have some objects selected =
before printing. I have found that unselecting everything (technically =
speaking you are clearing the selection buffer) Query->Unselect All.

Not a true tech support solution to the problem but it does tend to work =
(uh....sometimes).

Subject: MI-L Floating Point Exemption Error

  Hi List,

I am running Mapinfo Version 6 & 6.5 and often recieve the following =
error messages when running add on software packages=20

Does anyone know what causes the...
  =20
  "System Error - Floating-point exeception: Invalid."=20
  OK=20
  "Mapinfow.exe - Application Error" ????=20

This issue has come up a few times in the list, but I have not seen an =
explanation for it yet. One lister recently mentioned that the latest =
Mapinfo Patch (for ver 6.5) may help - unfortunately it doesn't in my =
case. This error happens in both Version 6 & 6.5 of Mapinfo, so the my =
idea of it being a MI 6.5 problem goes out the window! Also the error =
wont appear on my colleagues machine (who has MI 6) and he is doing the =
same processes as me!

  Any ideas would be appreciated.

  Cheers,

  Mandy
