The MapX object model is far more advanced and even
better than the MapBasic object model. As seen from
the eyes of a GIS expert I would say you are able to
do MORE with MapXtreme if you combine it with standard
server scripting languages such as ASP, PERL or PHP.
It's all a matter of knowing what's possible and
knowing what you want. I dare to state that (given an
amount of time I will be able to rebuild your app.
with all editing functionalitty (if present) in
MapXtreme!
