Hi,
I asked a similar question lately. I was more interested in reducing the =
size of the file rather than the resolution. The solution suggested and =
implemented was to use PNG format instead of JPG. The size reduction is =
remarkable - ~500K to ~24K. PNG format proves to be a well used format. =
I had reservations regarding the ability to utilise this format but =
found that most software are able to open this format.
Maybe not a direct answer to your question but it may tackle your =
problem from another angle?
