Double check you DPI. It sounds like it is set too high. When you have a
lot of information on you map and your DPI is set high, the first thing it
drops is the text. If your DPI is set at 1200 go the next step down to
600. If 600 then change to 300. ect..... You can make the changes in
your printer page set up. Hope this helps.

Subject: MI-L Text Missing When
Writing to PDF

Help please!!!
Sometimes my maps have a few lines of text in the layout. And for some
reason, these lines of text do not print when I print to pdf using
Distiller
5.0. Each line of text is it's own text object because of the amount
(about
5 lines, 70 characters each.) I'm using MapInfo 6.0.
Sometimes when I scale 99% or 101% or change the size of the font or play
with the Acrobat PDF Settings (print, press, screen, etc), the text shows up
in the pdf, but this time, it doesn't.... any ideas?
I will sum...
Thanks in advance,
Jennifer
