Hello to the South Atlantic - surely you must win an award for one of the most remote locations of anyone on this list...
I did see something similar a few weeks ago: MI 7, Build 26 just refused to run, with a 'memory could not be read' message.
I uninstalled and re-installed MI a few times, but it kept happening. In then end I installed XP SP1, in the hope that it would replace any damaged OS files. It works again, anyway...

Hi Guys,
I am having problems with MapInfo Version 7.0 Release Build 26. At
times, not all, I get the following message when trying to save a
table:-
"Application Error
The instruction at 0x0059f424 reference memory at 0x2e2e661c.
The memory could not be read."
After which MapInfo closes and all data not previously saved is lost.
Using a DELL PC with Windows 2000 sp3.
Any ideas?
