Hello All,

I know this is probably a Microsoft Error, but I am hoping someone can
shed some light on it for me.

I have a set of customized drawing functions, that are used on a daily
basis. Quite regularly I will hear the user swearing in the background
because MapInfo has come up with the following error message:

MAPINFOW.EXE Application Error
The instruction at 'memory address' referenced memory at 'memory
address'. The memory could not be 'read'.
Click on OK to terminate the program.

I have also seen the message where the memory could not be written. I
have tried both MapInfo 7 and 7.5 and have recompiled my MapBasic code
in 6.5, 7 and 7.5. I have tried this on different machines and the same
thing can happen, but not at the same time or with the same routine. It
most commonly happens when manipulating nodes on a polyline.

Our machines are running Windows 2000. We have tried different Service
Packs from 2 - 4.

This problem is driving me nuts, today it wouldn't actually shutdown
MapInfo, just repeated the dialog with the same memory address.

PLEASE HELP...

Cheers Ian
