Hello all, A question for all the well informed folk here, it maybe a simple one, but I am not a 'pro' with MapInfo.
Anyway here is what I want to attempt, I want to display various movements of traffic along roadways (shown by a simple line depicting direction of flow or movement) with a label showing the amount of traffic along that path. The problem is these volumes will change & I am looking for a simple process to update these numbers. I was thinking of a database that can be updated outside of MI, but then linked to the graphics in MI, so I could then update this database, then just open up a saved workspace and in turn have all my labels showing this new updated information. Is this possible ? If so, how would I go about doing this ? Or is there a better way of attempting this ? Any help would greatly appreciated, thanks ... Mark A. Adams Parsons Brinckerhoff - FG, Inc.
