Hi Mark,

Save a copy of your roadways table as an Access database (File > Save
Copy As > Save as type: Microsoft Access Database (*.tab)).

As well as maintaining the graphic objects in a MapInfo table, this
saves the table's attributes in an MDB file rather than the usual DAT
file. From then on you can edit your graphic objects in MapInfo, and
edit your attributes in either MapInfo or Access.

Cheers,

Simon
