Look at Appendix H: Creating your own coordinate system in the MapInfo instruction book that came with the program. It is a very usefull bit on updating the MAPINFOW.PRJ file and creating unsupported projections (which shall remain supported after you update.)

I'm using MI 7.0, and the projection I selected for the tables is British National Grid. The table certainly looks wrong - all the points etc are directly on top of each other. How can I get FME to translate these files - or is there something I can change to make MI recognise them as using a correct projection system?
