Hi! please tell me, how to specify the coordinate system for a raster file in out national coordinate system?
in brief: I want to register the raster file in a local coordinate system (Hungarian EOV), then I'd like to use the WGS84 coordinates from the GPS receiver to insert points/features on the map. in detail: here is my tab file: ------------------ !table !version 600 !charset WindowsLatin1 Definition Table File "orthofoto_t4.gif" Type "RASTER" (650000,200000) (0,0) Label "Pt 1", (651000,200000) (618,0) Label "Pt 2", (651000,199000) (618,811) Label "Pt 3" CoordSys Earth Projection 8, 1004, 7, 19.04857178, 47.14439372, 0.99993, 200000, 650000 ------------------ now I expect that if I set the numerical coordinate system to lat/lon WGS84, the top-left point of the image (Pt 1) will be: 19.04857178, 47.14439372. instead it is something like (24.57,42.95) ???
