AAAck!
I have been failing to create a MapInfo 6.5 projection that correctly
converts shape files using the Idaho Transverse Mercator (NAD27)
Projection. I can't seem to stop them from being bounded down into a flat
line or a single point, or nothing, even though there are no bounds in the
projection file. I've even tried creating huge bounds with poor
results. Here's a sample:
"IDTM IdaTransverse (NAD 27 for US)", 10, 62, 7, -114, 42, 0.9996, 500000,
100000
I tried 8 and 26 as the projection types with no better success. Does
anyone have a solution? For some reason I am getting units in the 100
million range when I expect them in the 100 thousands.
TIA
