Hello Graeme,

This is almost certain to be that the field ("ID") has been deleted or
changed name. The field has been nominated for labelling (even if labelling
is not enabled in any map window). You can mess around working out which
layer is causes the problem and change the field name to something that does
exists in the respective table, but the simplest solution is to change "ID"
to "COL1". This make the 1st column the subject for labelling. Although you
have noted that everything looks OK, check on layers that have labelling
enabled and make sure they're all OK.

Subject: MI-L Workspace Error

I receive the following error when certain workspaces are opened and would
be grateful if someone could shed some light... The error message below
occurred after moving all the wor & tab files to a new server, the file
locations have stayed the same. I also named the new server the same as the
previous host, so there is no problem in locating the necessary files.

Error Message
(U:\workspace Name.wor:28) Variable or Field ID Not defined

After this there is a message indicating the workspace has not been
completely opened.
I opened the Workspace in notepad, but could not find anything of relevance.

I would be grateful for any advice
  Graeme
