Instead of originaly -> Map from AAA,BBB,... An other easy way is to make a Selection. Use the SQL Select, choose * from table AAA and save into BBB. Or use the Mapbasic Windows and type: Select * from AAA into BBB Save BBB as an other copy or as a query. You can then open BBB as a base table or as a query (.tab made)and add it in your layer control and save it in your workspaces.
