Hi Will, My understanding is that MapXmobile doesn't run on CE, just on PocketPC. But if you choose to go with GeoXT and ArcPad, you may wish to look at MI2AP (www.avantra.com.au/mi2ap.htm).
MI2AP converts all elements of a MapInfo map to and from an ArcPad map (including the data, imagery, projection files, symbology and layer settings such as labelling and zoom layering), as well as offering data entry form generation.
