I guess MB7.5 applications will run on MI Pro .NET for a long time, but the
compiler itself will only be available with MI Pro win32. I also guess that
MI 7.5 and MB 7.5 will be for sale for a long time - they are likely to be
less demanding on the computer. Not everybody has the latest 3 GHz machines
with fast disks, plenty of ram etc. for running .NET applications.

ESRI dumped the avenue code completely when they moved to Arcgis 8 and they
haven't been very popular for doing that. MapInfo Corp. has probably learned
from this.
