Hi,

MapInfo 7.8 added the ability to split a polyline at a selected node.

Splitter will - as far as I remember - split a selected editable polyline if you click closer than 1 meter to a node on it. So to be sure, turn on snap and make sure that you snap a node before using it

Subject: [MI-L] [Spam] Street Network 101

Dear List;

I need to build a street network in order to do some geocoding and I have a couple of questions.

Is there a MBX that would break a polyline into segments so I can add certain values to each street segment?

I’ve tried Polybrk.mbx but it erases the info and switches the feature’s direction, I’ve also tried splitter.mbx but didn’t do anything.

Also can I do something like this

I have street A that runs (cuts, intersects) through streets 1st , 2nd, 3rd and 4th Once I break the polyline into segments is there a way that I can write to each segment what are the streets at the end point of street A.

Something like this

Street: A

Between_Street1: 1st

Between_Street2: 2nd

Is this possible?

¡Saludos! / Greetings!
