As a MapInfo authorized trainer, I would recommend taking the training
classes. In the Introduction to MapInfo class alone, sixth months worth of
trying to figure MapInfo out on your own is condensed into a two day
session.
Many students have commented that the available manuals are insufficient and
difficult to understand. They leave the classes feeling they have saved a
lot of time and they are much more comfortable with the product.
I would be happy to go into more detail about the classes and the
