Having made the original comment in this thread, let me assure all that I
am a pacifist. I'm also an activist, though I'm not an activist pacifist.
I was, however, in the Pacific recently, which should count for something,
and you can see one of the ever-evolving humpback whales that swam
underneath our boat at:

Those so-called ducks are actually nene geese. (Forgive me, so no comments
about duck-billed ducks, please.)
