No, you can continue to use all the bitmap formats that MI Pro already
supports. This is just another option with some nice benifits. If you
do want to convert to MrSID, you should start with an uncompressed image:
not jpeg or gif, and you can get everything you need from LizardTech at
http://www.lizardtech.com
