As mentioned by other listers, this problem often occurs when datas have
topological errors. We developped a MapInfo add-on called MapLogix, which
can help you to give objects a topological structure. MapLogix can detect
geometry errors on polylines and correct them. If your file already
contains polygons, maybe that MapLogix will be able to help you by
harmonizing nodes between polygons. If this procedure don't solved your
problems, then I suggest you to go back to lines objects.
MapLogix doesn't solve all MI geometry management problems but can be very
helpful to avoid most of them. The demo version of MapLogix is now
available on Bill Thoen FTP site, at
http://www.ctmap.com/mapinfo/recent.htm
You can also download it on our web site, at http://www.korem.com/MapLogix
Hope this helps,
Jose
