Submission of the rotate the raster/image is not trivial in any way. But to suggest
that adding it as a prioity issue to Steve's "Wish List" at this late moment prior
to 5.5 to embarass the MapInfo effort is less than honest; is a dream that will not
come true (this release).
There are many, many great things we are about to be updated with. If you were a
part of the Beta you would know that. Of primary interest to all of us should be the
great news for the Oracle alliance via 8i. If you can not see through to a larger
picture that the MapInfo group has played a David against the ESRI data archives you
have missed a major shift in our industry.
Yest I too would like to rotate images in realtime. Just give me a video system
fast enough and we could all enjoy.
