There is a great deal more that MapXtreme can do than just thematics versus
MapXsite. Object creation/editing, connectivity, performance enhancements
and more.

But MapXsite is also being sold short as just a "store locator" product...
it can do much more.

MapInfo is selling a striped down version of MapXtreme.. MapXsite. It may
suite
your budget. It does everything MapXtreme does but thematic mapping. That
seems
to fill your needs.
