Hi: I have a workspace in which one of the tables opened is an Access
database file. It worked fine when I first used it. However since then I
have worked with the database file (added data and added one field). Now
when I try to open my workspace, it tells me there is an error opening the
database table and it won't open any of the workspace.
Is there a way around this? I need to open that workspace (recreating it
will take far too long). I can edit out the database references by editing
the workspace file but I'm not totally sure if this will work or if I'll
catch all the right references without erasing something else.
Should I not be able to modify my database without affecting my MapInfo
files. Is there a better way to do this? I originally tried to open it
through ODBC but I'm not too familar with that, it didn't work and opening
the table directly seemed to meet my needs (its not a complicated database).
Thanks for the help - as most people are when things go wrong, I'm racing
towards a deadline.
